Welcome to My MLM Biz
This site is meant as a resource about the Multi-Level Marketing Business (or Network Marketing Business as others would call it) for those who are doing some due diligence about the business as a whole. If you have reason to believe that you can build a business without talking to people, even if you're using the Internet, please do not read any further. The network marketing business is a people-centred business. It is also not a get rich quick scheme - never was and never will. This business may not be suitable for everyone though it appears that way with the low entry cost.
If there was anyone that claimed that you don't have to sell, just consume and share, you are being misled. The word "share" is actually a replacement of the word "sell." Please remember that this business can be highly leveraged and the benefits and rewards can be far reaching and life changing. It takes a proper mindset and commitment to succeed by bringing value to other people in the most honest, forthright manner.
Here are some major resources to take a first look before you dive into your own business:-
1. Len Clements' Marketwave Incorporated, www.marketwaveinc.com. Mr.Clements is not a rah-rah MLM insider. He has a no-nonsense approach to the network marketing industry and an expert witness for the network marketing industry. This site would be the first site to go for you to find out the latest news about the industry in general.
2. Better Networker, www.betternetworker.com. Better Networker is a reboot of Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring community. The primary focus is on building your MLM business by providing value first, not products. Better Networker is now presided by Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong of Attraction Marketing Formula (www.attractionmarketingformula.com) and SEO Networker (www.seonetworker.com) and it's free to join. Just lurk around and ask questions and they will be answered.
3. George Madiou's The Network Marketing Magazine, www.thenetworkmarketingmagazine.com. Mr.Madiou is the founder and publisher of the above magazine and it is chock full of information for all networkers new and old, traditional or new school. However, this is a subscription based magazine but there is a free one month trial. Being a member has its privileges, like heavily discounted products that NWM carries as well as a wealth of resources from industry experts.
4. Tim Sale's Brilliant Exchange website, www.brilliantexchange.com. Tim probably has one of the most-used generic programmes to explain the network marketing industry compared to other industries. You may have heard a CD or viewed a video or even a link to a website (subscribed by MLM groups to introduce the opportunity to prospects) entitled Brilliant Compensation. Some of his videos are on his other website, www.firstclassmlm.com or you can view them in the Video page here.
5. Robert Kiyosaki's The Business School for People Who Like Helping People - The Eight Hidden Values of a Network Marketing Business, Other Than Making Money. This book is Robert's unbiased view of the network marketing industry from his RichDad perspective as he is not involved in it.
6. MLM Teleclass at www.mlmteleclass.com is a training teleconference class for all distributors led by industry leaders. This is generic training in all aspects of your business and the best thing is that it's all complimentary. I don't think you can get any better than that!
7. Training U (at www.trainingu.com) for self development is another training teleconference class for the general public. Leaders in self-help categories often are featured by Training U.
8. Max Steingart's Endless Leads course which will run you through step-by-step on prospecting in the social media circle like MySpace (see blog for review).
9. Mike Klinger's Renegade University, www.renegadeuniversity.com, of which I have reviewed in my blog sometime back, is a very good resource for those who have no clue about using the tools available for lead generation. Great for total newbies as it takes you by the hand. The more advanced stuff is Renegade Professional where you get step-by-step video tutorials to go about expanding your business.
10. Ann Sieg's Renegade Network Marketer and Attraction Marketers Manifesto, which is rapidly expanding making great strides by joint venturing with Renegade /University Professional. I find Ann Sieg's stuff down to earth and perhaps much more closer to home to those who have had struggled and had poor results.
I will put up more links and information after I have reviewed them. Updates will be on my blog as well which will be current as I can get. In the meantime, I wish you success in all your endeavours. Feel free to drop me a line if you need more info or any comments. Otherwise, click on the Better Networker link below my signature and meet me there.
Regards
Philip.
