In the months that went past since Mike launched the Elevation Group (EVG), time has passed quickly and it was a rather enlightening trip learning all the information he shared with the members about preparing for the impending economic implosion around the world and in particular, the US of A. If you do have a feeling that something's not right, well, you're right, and I can't emphasise any more. What you learn on EVG will help you prepare and survive this impending crisis. I strongly urge you to at least check it out as I did, and I have learnt quite a lot from the resources that he has access to compared to the rest of us. The EVG launch is running with a 75% discount but it won't be there for long. Here's my affiliate link to EVG. 1 Comment Mike Dillard's The Elevation Group 02/12/2011
If you've been keeping an eye on world news of late, there is all this noise about unrest in different parts of the world, not to mention countries falling apart with failed economies. Mike Dillard set up The Elevation Group for forward looking people (doesn't matter if you're in network marketing) who are concerned about this and explains the silver lining within the problems you read or watch. I have subscribed to this group and I must say that the information within it expands your mind, particularly with setting up a "Bank of You." Take a quick tour of the membership site here or if you like, take a look at the 90-minute tell all video (sales page). MLM Launch Formula review 12/03/2010
Over the last few months I have been looking at the MLM Launch Formula program by Jonathan Budd and Mark Hoverson. The program is good and particularly suited for those with a growing network of distributors. One question that needs answers is whether it is more profitable for a network marketer to turn into an information marketer, simply because selling information may be better leveraged as opposed to a product oriented marketer in any network marketing opportunity. Of course, there are network marketing opportunities that are focused on information as well. Subsequent email blasts by Jonathan Budd seems to point in that direction, where all he talks about are human psychology, spirituality and motivational stuff, unlike that of a network marketer. This kind of puts me off, but who gives a heck? All you need to care about is your progress, your success. It's just my two cents worth on this program. Caveat emptor. More launches 07/02/2010
The recent number of launches in the MLM sphere is almost like a movie opening for the summer! Ann Sieg has tied up with Ty Tribble for the MLM Blogging Secrets intro which leads to a higher ticket MLM Blog Code, with their take on using blogging as the only platform to generate leads and converting them into your primary. Mark Hoverson (which Ann had a JV with not too long ago) is partnering with Jonathan Budd for the MLM Launch Formula course of which I have bought into and reviewing. I'll blog about this a bit more later. So, back to being focused on one thing at a time with this program I bought into. Talk to you later. Way too many launches! 04/23/2010
In the recent months there have been several launches by the well renowned leaders for the MLM industry, namely those under Mike Dillard and Ann Sieg/Mike Klinger. It's now all about information publishing and helping others out by adding value - not that I do not subscribe to that, but it seems like they are capitalizing on a rather huge market of newbies and wannabes that it's probably much more profitable to have and information publishing business than a network marketing business. I'm an affiliate of both camps, but I think I'm going to hold back for now. Both camps have monthly subscriptions and coaching/mentoring programs and whatever next. I'm sorry to say that I'm all tapped out. There are certain advantages about self-improvement, but most importantly it is to take action, any action, that will provide results to judge by. Of course, taking action will also involve time and some money - there is no free lunch. To you newbies out there serious about a network business, I ask you to choose wisely and not take anything that comes along on the first page of your preferred search engine. I have come to the conclusion that not all countries can subscribe to that which is prescribed in the US, despite its claims. Here in Asia we still use the traditional way of network marketing, though that landscape is changing slowly, but still it's the way that works. most of the time - nothing like a good, firm handshake and talking to people about your products, and perhaps, your opportunity. It's how well you can influence the prospect on what could be best option for them. In my next post I'll tell you what I think you require to know about building your business or taking it to the next level. Getting Productive in 2010 01/23/2010
Happy New Year to all. The month of January is almost over and The New Year Resolutions have all but evaporated as we go about our daily lives. I've been busy looking at new projects and will be updating more frequently on providing you with more reviews on the projects I'm working on. If you have promised yourself to get something started, whether it be your very own network marketing business, or any business for that matter - you really have to take the first baby step forward, and then take the next baby step forward, and so on and so forth. Nothing gets done if you don't do it so let's co-create something if you're interested. Look out for something new on the horizon from me! I am glad that you stopped by and wish you a successful 2010. Copywriting - the language of marketing 12/11/2009
I remember watching a video of Mike Dillard admitting that he didn't want to be the kind of sales rep that everybody loves to hate, and so he decided to do it with technology and the most underestimated language of marketing - copywriting. With technology, he meant the Internet with the usage of Adwords. In effect, he pretty much implied that he didn't like to go out and meet people and do the cold calls. Now how many of you out there totally agree with him? I do. I don't like being sold, but I love to buy, and what makes me want to whip out my credit card are well chosen words pushing all the hot buttons on what I'm looking for. And of course, I don't have to go out and meet anybody unless it's something I can't find online. If you type in a search term like "copywriting" - you'd be flooded with like 5.76 million hits (as of this writing). There are so many copy gurus out there you'd probably suffer from information overload. Names like Ted Nicholas, Joe Sugarman, Gary Halbert, Claude Hopkins, John Carlton, Michel Fortin, Gary Bencivenga...and the list goes on and on. As well, with the recent FTC guidelines in place since Dec 1st, this has pretty much thrown the marketing world in disarray about what constitutes "typical results," which appear to be the main stink when including testimonials. To date, having subscribed to Magnetic Sponsoring and Renegade Network Marketer, I noticed that the common thread between the two is one copywriter that they both highly recommend and work with - and that's David Garfinkel. You won't find his name out there in the lights like Gary or Ted or Joe, but you will find that what he has to offer will be simple and easy to understand and follow (this is an unsolicited endorsement). With David, Magnetic Sponsoring has created The Copywriter's Guild, and with Renegade Network Marketer, The Ultimate Copywriting Crash Course. So, you might want to seriously consider learning about copywriting if you want to bring your business online, or starting it online, or generating leads without cold calling. Heck, you might even make it your home-based business if you master this! The Renegade Network Marketer Review 12/06/2009
After a while of going through Ann Sieg's The Renegade Network Marketer (listened to the audiobook about a dozen times and read the ebook a few times) and associated items that go with (Renegade Network Marketer System) - I felt that it's really worth the purchase. To top it off, I recently received snail mail (postcard) from one of her associates as a follow up, it's a consolation despite the length of time it took for them to do so. I guess they must've been busy with the Breakthrough Mentoring Program and Coaching Cognition Course as well... The material in the RNWM (Renegade Network Marketer) ebook may read very normal, but it really is packed with truths about the industry and how we can elevate it to a more professional level, inclusive of the system that comes with it and training tools and tips etc. The gist of it is to teach you how to build a business first BEFORE and to establish yourself as a leader. Note: You can use this information to build a business OUTSIDE of network marketing - it doesn't just apply to network marketing itself. For $67 and a 90-day money-back guarantee, it should be a no-brainer to check it out. My question is probably about the location I'm in (Malaysia) where traditional marketing (mentioned in the book) is still very much entrenched, apart from the culture that goes with it. Though Internet Marketing (and broadband penetration) is growing in the country, I am wondering how I can apply all of these in a local context. Of course, I wouldn't mind sponsoring overseas, but I'd like a more personal touch closer to home first prior to overseas...stupid question perhaps. Still, if you haven't read The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing, you can find it here. It's a free ebook and you can let me know what you think. Might be gold, might be crap - you be the judge. Ann Sieg recently had a sale of her Renegade Network Marketer ebook/audio to her subscriber list for half off. I decided to take it up and go through the material. The initial impression of her RNM ebook is good and am up to Chapter 7 in the first round (she says to read it at least twice). It's good content - and it covers the trials and tribulations of the "average network marketer" and the industry gurus who don't quite tell you everything. I can resonate with some of her horror stories about the old way of "building the business" and will see what she has to say toward the end of the ebook. A full review is on its way after I have digested her information. Renegade Pro opens up again 06/24/2009
Seems like there's quite a number of launches and upgrades on the network marketing front between the two giants(?) i.e. MLMTF2 vs RBMP/RPro. | AuthorMy bread and butter business is in the oil and gas industry as a geophysical survey QC guy. Been doing this 20 years and looking forward to a better life ahead with network marketing. ArchivesDecember 2011 CategoriesAll |
