Today I had a re-read of Robert Kiyosaki's The Business School for People Who Like Helping People. This book is Robert's view of the network marketing business and why he thinks that it makes good sense to get involved in it. He describes the 8 Hidden Values of a network marketing business other than making money.

It's an easy read and takes a couple of hours to get by quickly but there's quite a bit of take-aways that can be had from it. It is certainly good to note that he cites the building of You Inc. (as mentioned in Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring) as a critical factor in researching network marketing companies.

If you look at network marketing companies from his perspective, it makes good sense for those that are employed or self-employed (E and S quadrants) to enter the B and I quadrants with low barrier to entry, provided that one is prepared to work for it.

I know that this book is part of the network marketer's arsenal to educate the general public about network marketing as well as an unbiased endorsement about the network marketing industry. So if you are doing your due diligence, this book should be an interesting read. Note that Robert is not involved in network marketing.
